There's something very surreal about dressing a girl in minimal beachwear and then posing her like a model. I was never really into barbies but I guess this is sort of the same thing. I must admit it's very exciting in the "hmmmmm" way. Working her face is the most interesting.. I guess its easy to give her a pornstar look - just open the mouth and give her rabbit eyes, but I want to add vulnerability, and a kind of dark pouty sensuality. I spent hours looking for bikini models to try and get the idea for what works and what doesn't, and I think I have learned a bit about what looks good (And that oh my god theres a lot of bad porn out there!)This is a work thats currently rendering - Transparent mesh bikini. I'm still not sure if its too explicit for the regular calendar. It doesn't leave much to the imagination.
